Weekend of April 11th Betting Tips

16 out of 33 NAPS. £347 down last weekend.  Anyone reading for the first time are unlikely to have got past the first few words of this blog.  Hopefully if you have read on, or you are a regular reader, it will be a profitable weekend.   It wasn't the Easter weekend I was after.  Within 11 minutes it looked clear that I would have to perform some sort of miracle.  After 22 minutes Wycombe were two down and rather than it being a profitable weekend, it seemed more likely after rising from his tomb, that JC would come on as substitute, score the winner and get booked for taking his shirt off, the irony of him scoring from a cross.  This was one of my worst betting weekends ever and comfort eating with chocolate means I need to win plenty this weekend to get a new wardrobe.  I will say a prayer to the big man upstairs and hope he can answer it by providing some winners this weekend.

The Grand National also takes place this weekend and I will be having a cheeky punt.  I know nothing about horse racing (some might argue it's the same with my football knowledge) but I will still get involved for the fun element.  Any winnings from The National will be a bonus.  I can't really make any informative comments on the race apart from I have picked 4 horses and will have £2.50 each way on all of them.

Back to the Football………….

Premier League – The early kickoff sees Swansea hosting Everton.  At 6/4 (Bet 365) Swansea initially look like a good bet.  However, Everton are the proverbial bogey team for the Swans.  Everton have won 13 and lost 0 of the 19 league contests.  It is very difficult to look past Spurs who are at home to a woeful Aston Villa.  After listening to Sherwood's press conference the other day, it seems Spurs owe everything to him, he even declared what a great job he did.  His arrogance knows no bounds but I can see his Gilet getting thrown a few times on Saturday.  Spurs (NAP) are 8/13 (Bet 365) and they have won their last 5 meetings with Aston Villa.  The price is short but I can't see any other result.  The big Manchester derby takes place on Sunday and Manchester United must have the bit between their teeth and fancy their chances.  United are 17/10 (William Hill) and have a point to prove after losing their last 4 games against City.  This is their best opportunity of victory in a while as they have the momentum and City are floundering.  The Monday night game of Liverpool Vs Newcastle offers no value, with Liverpool at 4/9 (Ladbrokes).

Swansea (6/4 Bet 365) Vs Everton

Tottenham (8/13 Bet 365) NAP Vs Aston Villa

Manchester United (17/10 William Hill) Vs Manchester City

Liverpool (4/9 Ladbrokes) Vs Newcastle

The Championship – I cannot see a single thing that is worth a look in The Championship this weekend.

League One – 1st Vs 2nd in League One, time for the three sided coin.  Again, another League where nothing tickles my fancy.

League Two – Hopefully we can find some value in the final tier of the English League (it could be a quite betting Saturday).  Plymouth are vying for promotion and could jump into the playoff places with a home victory over Mansfield.  At 17/20 (William Hill) I think this offers some good value, Mansfield have struggled against the higher placed teams.  Despite both teams only winning 1 of their last 6 I think the tides should turn for Plymouth.  Stevenage are 7/5 (William Hill) at home to Northampton and at odds against this is one of the value bets of the day.
