Well what a week we had last week! All 4 of my tips came in including a £322 lucky 15, a £240 4 fold not even to mention the 2 singles. This was definitely the best week of the season so far, and continues the trend of profit Saturday after Saturday for the last 2 months. Moreover, we cant rest on our laurels, and need to push forward and continue the trend, we don't want any dips, especially ahead of a busy Christmas period.
This week I have picked out 6 teams that i fancy to varying degrees across 3 divisions. We start in the Premier League where I have picked out 2 little beauties. The first is my bet of the day n the Premier League. West Ham entertain a highly dis-functional and clearly confidence sunk Leicester City side. The Hammers have won 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 home games against much better opposition, and at 8/11 represent good odds to continue this run. I have The Iron as a single and also the first leg of today's treble. My second bet from the Premier League comes at Loftus Road where QPR play West Brom. QPR have been great at home recently, and welcome back Charlie Austin for this game after suspension, the man who is so vital to the way they play and more importantly the man who scores the goals. QPR have only lost 1 of their last 6 home games and have beaten Burnley, Leicester and Villa in the process. West Brom are in very similar company to those beaten sides, and at 16/11 again the odds are decent. I havent done this as a single but instead put them as the first leg of a patent (7 bets). Other fixtures I looked at included Man City, just to boost the odds of an accy. Yes, i think they can win but at 1/3, its not worth it. Swansea is another I like the look of away at Hull. My issue with The Swans is their inability to be clinical when it matters. They often look the better team, but they let in simple goals, and miss plenty. For this reason I'm leaving this alone.
West Ham to beat Leicester City £75 8/11 William Hill.
The Championship offers another tough round of fixtures. There are 2 games that I was very close to having a nibble on, and they were on the shortlist, but didn't make the cut. Firstly there is Bournemouth. They play away at Blackpool. I think they will win this, but at 3/4 the odds aren't great for an away game, and they have had some tough fixtures recently including the midweek game against Liverpool, and there is a potential for them to slip up. The second game I looked at was Wolves vs Brighton. This is purely down to Brighton's poor form that I like the look of this game for a Wolves win. However, Wolves form is equally as bad. Again I fancy them to win, but not enough to bet on it!
League 1 has a few games I like this week. I haven't put any as singles, but have 3 games that make up other legs from my treble and patent bets. The first of these is Bradford to beat Scunthorpe. This is the second bet of my patent. My thoughts on this are more about how bad Scunthorpe are, as to how good Bradford are. Scunthorpe struggled to beat Conference North side Worcester, and were outplayed over the 2 legs. Moreover, Scunthorpe concede an average of 2 goals a game away from home, and this I see as no different. Bradford (17/20) have won 5/6 games more recently and looked good in beating Chesterfield last week. The third and final leg of tomorrows patent comes in the way of Sheffield United. The Blades (11/10) had a great win over Southampton in the week and will look to carry this form into the league. They can beat anyone in the league on their day and Walsall although being no mugs won't have enough in this. The second bet of tomorrow's treble is that of Swindon. They were close to being a single also, but I opted to keep it at 2. Swindon are the leagues form team having won their last 5 games and they will have to much for a Donny team that have lost their last 2. Donny have a decent away record, but Swindon will be looking to keep their run going.
League 2 features my bet of the day. Luton Town have been good to me this season, and having already beaten Newport in the cup, I think are a great bet to win again. Luton are 23/20 to win this and having won their last 7 on the bounce at home, this represents great value. I've also added this to this weeks treble, to complete this weeks tips.
Luton Town to beat Newport County £75 @ 23/20 Coral
West Ham to beat Leicester, Swindon to beat Doncaster Rovers, Luton Town to beat Newport £20 @ 7.59
QPR to beat West Brom, Bradford to beat Scunthorpe, Sheffield United to beat Walsall 7x £10 bets- max payout £280.70 with William Hill.
Good Luck
