Russian Premier League
Zenit v FK Krasnodar (Sat 15 Aug @ 14:30)

Zenit are in fine form ahead of their weekend clash against FK Krasnodar, with Andres Villas-Boas’ side having won their first four games of the new season. As a result, the defending champions should have no problem beating a Krasnodar side who are yet to record a win in the league this campaign, especially considering how formidable Zenit are playing at home.

Dutch Eredivisie

Portuguese Primera Liga
Porto v Guimaraes (Sat 15 Aug @ 20:45)

Primera Liga runners-up Porto are hoping to pick up where they left off last season by kickstarting their title challenge with a win over Guimaraes. They ended the previous campaign in sensational form, and should have no problem dispatching of a side who finished 27 points behind them in the league in 2014/15.

Dutch Eredivisie
PSV v Groningen (Sun 16 Aug) @ 11:30

Eredivisie champions PSV are hoping to make up for dropped points in their league opener with a win against Groningen on Sunday. The hosts beat the visitors earlier this month in the Super Cup (3-0) and boast fantastic form on home soil that should see them repeat the feat this weekend.

German Bundesliga
Wolfsburg v Eintracht Frankfurt (Sun 16 Aug @ 14:30)

Bundesliga runners-up Wolfsburg are one to watch this season, and their opening day clash against Eintracht Frankfurt  should see them coming out on top given how strong the Wolves were on home soil over the last 12 months. They drew both meetings against Frankfurt in 2014/15, but have strengthen the side this summer and it should pay dividends.

English Premier League
Man City v Chelsea (Sun 16 Aug @ 16:00)

Its 2nd versus 1st from last seasons Premier League on Sunday afternoon, with Manchester City looking to beat defending champions Chelsea. They lock horns with the Londoners at a perfect time, with Jose Mourinho’s side having lost in the Community Shield, and drawing at home in their league opener. With City having emphatically won their first game in the division, they will fancy their chances of winning the early title-race six pointer on home soil.

French Ligue 1
PSG v Ajaccio (Sun 16 Aug @ 20:00)

Perennial French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are a difficult side to beat on home soil, and this weekend’s opponents Ajaccio have a near impossible task of coming away with a positive result. The Blues last season were unbeaten at the Parc des Princes in the league, and they’re unsurprisingly big favourites to come out on top on Sunday.

Home Win @ 1/9 (Bet Victor)

Portuguese Primeira Liga
Benfica v Estoril (Sun 16 Aug @ 20:30)

Defending champions Benfica are big favourites to kick off the new season with a win against Estoril this weekend, with the hosts having beaten the visitors twice in the league last season with a 9-2 aggregate victory. Their form at home should see them comfortably dispatching a side who last season won just three of their 17 games on the road in the division.
