Despite only picking one winner from 6 games last weekend I only ended the day £68.80 down. The NAP at 19/10 (Charlton) was the only game that came in. That makes it 16 out of 31 for NAPS. Picking such high prices, and having my highest stake on the winner, got me out of jail. This weekend sees the International fixtures taking place. I will have a look at the International games as well as the two lower leagues, once again looking for value. It is a shorter blog than normal with the lack of games. Hopefully it will still prove a profitable one.
International – It is always difficult to spot good prices in the International fixtures. Israel Vs Wales is the only fixture which offers a good price. Wales are 29/10 (Boyle Sports) and I think this is a great price. Wales have lost 1 in 9. However, Israel have won their last 4. With Bale, Ramsey, Allen and Williams all fit, the Welsh should be able to put up a good fight.
Israel Vs Wales (29/10 Boyle Sports)
League One – There are several games in League One that I like the look of this week. I have picked 5 games out and I am not going to allow the prices to put me off.
Chesterfield (Evens Ladbrokes) Vs Walsall
Crawley (19/10 William Hill) Vs Gillingham
Notts County (9/5 William Hill) Vs Scunthorpe
Peterborough (11/10 Bet 365) Vs Coventry
Rochdale (19/20 Bet 365) Vs Yeovil
Chesterfield and Walsall are both a bit hit and miss but I think with the home advantage to Chesterfield it should be enough. Walsall have not been too bad at home over their last 6 league matches so I would proceed with caution but it is still worth a look.
Crawley, despite being 19th, Dean Saunders has worked wonders and the price is amazing taking all variables into consideration, this game is one to consider.
Notts County may seem a strange one but I am drawn in again by the fantastic price. I am also going to make this game my NAP. They have just got rid of their manager and Paul Hart takes charge. They are at home to a Scunthorpe team who just got heavily beaten by Sheffield United. Scunthorpe looked terrible and they will need to up their game if they are to get anything against County.
Peterborough are one of the best form teams in the league and I find the fact that they are odds against surprising. Coventry will need to stop a team who have the bit between their teeth. A win for Peterborough would further cement their position in the playoffs.
Rochdale are playing the bottom of the league, despite this the game still leaves a niggling doubt. I still expect Rochdale to take all three points but I am not as confident with this game as I am some of the others.
League Two – I can't find anything in League Two that offers value or which makes me confident in putting any money down.
