Last week I had a cheeky correct score treble and ended up with two out of 3, Palace were the only let down. I didn't write on here last week that I did have a dream Oxford would win 2-0. I am not superstitious and don't believe in things like that so didn't want to sound nutty. However, it has happened again, this time I have forseen a one nil Villa (8/1 Ladbrokes) win and also a Jack Grealish goal (13/1 888 FGS), he is yet to score for Villa. As I said, I am not a superstitious character but hopefully it may come off…..touch wood. The scorecast is 50/1 (Victor).
Noticeable low lights last week were the NAP (17 out of 35 now) going down and just missing out on the fourfold. In more pleasing news, I managed to make money in the lower leagues.
This weekend sees a strange set of fixtures. To give people the opportunity to watch all games, on the final days, the kick off times vary. The Championship sees the early kick offs and League Two the 3pm kick offs on Saturday. The Premier League runs as normal with League One tying up loose ends at 12:15 on Sunday.
The Premier League – It's the bottom of the table that will provide the excitement this weekend and for the rest of the season. The early kick off is no exception with the in form Leicester (19/20 Paddy Power) host the hapless Newcastle. How can anyone back Newcastle at the minute. You would have to think Leicester will be too good for them. Aston Villa Vs Everton = Nostradamus. I also think the Everton and Villa game will be an extremely tight and low scoring affair (Under 2.5 goals 4/5 Boyle Sports). There are no other games that tickle my fancy in the Premier League this weekend.

The Championship – With the top two and bottom three decided, the real focus in this league is for the final play off place. It's two from four with Ipswich, Derby, Brentford and Wolves battling out for the final place. Derby have been extremely lucky to still be there and Mclaren is starting to work his “magic”. If it is true that he is first in line for the Newcastle job then I will be lumping on them to get relegated next season. Ipswich are the only team to be playing away from home. Brentford and Wolves both play relegated teams, they must rely on a Derby defeat at home to Reading and/or a defeat for Ipswich at Blackburn. The prices for the three home teams are 2/5 and not worth touching. With all the other teams having very little to play for it is much like a lottery. The only half decent price is Middlesbrough 8/13 (Boyle Sports) at home to Brighton. A victory will see them finish 3rd, which could be vital. If Bournemouth lose their last game and Middlesbrough win, they will be kicking themselves for throwing their keeper up in the last minute, costing them a point.

League Two – The relegation slots are filled so it's the top end that has the attention. 3 teams are looking to get the final automatic spot with the other two teams finishing in the playoffs. Southend, Bury and Wycombe are all away, but yet are all odds on to win. Portsmouth (6/4 Boyle Sports) at home to York offer good value. Their recent defeats have all come against higher teams and York, although having won a few, have only been triumphant against the lower teams. Bury away (8/13 Boyle Sports) to Tranmere is the only other possible choice. Although they are odds on they should have too much to resign Tranmere to the wooden spoon and give themselves a chance of automatic promotion.

League One – The final games are in League One on Sunday. The attention this time is at the bottom with 3 from 5 potentially going down but also at the top with Preston or MK looking for that last automatic spot. I have discounted Coventry going down due to goal difference. Preston have a say in who goes up and who goes down as they are away to Colchester who need a win to stand any chance. The clubs fighting for their lives could produce any sort of result. Whilst the odds are better in this league the games are so hard to predict. Avoid and enjoy the drama!
