A good week last week on the tipping front with 3/4 bets landing. This takes the season profits to £330, and we are starting to amass a decent amount of success now as the season form grows. This week i have picked out 1 bet in each of the top 3 divisions of England, and a double to hopefully develop the season profits further.
After the international break we are back with some nice looking Premier League games. Stoke are 3/4 to beat Burnley which is a nice bet, as is Everton to beat West Ham at 11/10. I'm not picking these though as there are others that i prefer. With Newcastle's recent resurgence i was surprised to see them at 20/23 to beat QPR. The Geordies are the PL's form team and are tough to beat at home on any given day. They have won their last 6 matches, and are unbeaten at home in their last 4, winning 3. QPR's away form however is awful. Despite an improvement in overall performance over the last few weeks they have lost their last 5 away from home. It is because of these reasons that Newcastle are my bet of the day in the PL. Another game to note is Chelsea at home to West Brom. This strikes as the proverbial ‘give-me' and will as a result be the first part of today's double. The odds of 1/4 isn't great but it only helps to boost the overall odds of the double and i cant see anything other than a comfortable home win.

In the Championship there are some decent odds around when you look at Norwich to beat Brighton at 10/11, and Watford to beat Derby at an even better priced 9/5. These are tough games to call however, so although i like the look of them, i wont be sticking my neck out or taking the plunge on these. The game for focus for me in the championship is Blackburn vs Leeds. Leeds are poor this season and very inconsistent. They are without a win in their last 4 away from home losing 3. In contrast Blackburn are unbeaten in their last 7, and have only lost once at home all season. Blackburn are 8-11 to win this one and i can see a clear win here today.

League 1 is again the place where i think the best odds and form are. I'm continually surprised by how generous the odds are in this division. Last time this happened i was stung by an extremely dodgy game between Notts County and Walsall, where the odds didn't make sense and the betting during the game was also very strange and left many to think something was amiss with that one. However, I'm hoping that was a one off as far as County are concerned. That game aside Notts are the form team in League 1. They have won their last 7 in the league. Yeovil in contrast lye bottom of the league not winning in the last 8, and losing 6 of these 8. County are 11/8 to win this, when i would put them as odds-on. This is my bet of the day, and i would normally lump on this, but due to the last contentious game vs Walsall i'm only staking £50 of my profit on it. The other game i like in League 1 is MK Dons vs Port Vale. Vale's away record is awful and the MK are one of the best teams in the division. They are unbeaten in 5, winning their last 3 at home. Vale in comparison have failed to 6 of their 8 away games and sees them 17th in League 1 in terms of home form vs MK Dons 2nd in terms of home form. MK are only 8-11 however that's why I've got the Chelsea ‘give-me' to bump up the odds for today's double.
